While I do try to maintain an active lifestyle, I can’t say that I’ve ever done much yoga. Given that I live in Los Angeles, there is a yoga studio on every block. So I figured that I should give it a shot. Now, I don’t know much about yoga at all. But I do have a friend named Laurie who does and she’s nice enough to join me in this episode to teach us some intricate poses. The first pose Laurie shows us is called Chaturanga Dandasana and was actually pretty challenging for me. Laurie explains a variation for beginners that are gaining strength, so I still encourage you to give it a shot. The second pose we go through is called Bakasana or Crow Pose. This was a lot of fun to try and I think you’ll get a kick out of it. I think that these poses were a little challenging for me, but it’s a challenge I’m willing to welcome.
